Road Lighting Streetlamp
It adopts high-strength steel poles and LED energy-saving light sources, with an IP65 protection rating and a wind resistance rating of up to level 12. It is suitable for night lighting in scenarios such as urban roads and expressways.
Product Overview
Street lights are road lighting facilities with steel as the core structural material. The light poles are mostly made of high-quality low-carbon steel (such as Q235A steel plates), formed by rolling and bending. The welding method is usually automatic submerged arc welding to ensure welding quality. The wall thickness of the light pole ranges from 3mm to 5mm depending on the height, and in some special scenarios (such as high-mast lights), the wall thickness is thicker. The surface undergoes anti-corrosion treatments such as hot-dip galvanizing and electrostatic powder coating. The hot-dip galvanizing layer thickness is over 86um, and the powder coating thickness is ≥10um, providing good anti-corrosion and weather resistance. The lamps are mostly made of aluminum with tempered glass, and exposed fasteners are made of stainless steel. They are compatible with various light sources such as metal halide lamps, high-pressure sodium lamps, and LEDs. The height of the light pole (such as 6-12 meters for conventional road lights, 15-50 meters for high-mast lights), shape (single-arm, double-arm, special artistic shapes, etc.), and functions (ordinary lighting, smart street lights integrating monitoring, charging piles, etc.) can be customized according to road requirements and scene characteristics.
Main Features
- High structural strength: Steel itself has excellent mechanical properties. After professional processing, the light pole has strong wind resistance (normally designed for winds above 36.9 m/s (Level 11), and special models such as high-mast lights can reach wind resistance level 12), high earthquake resistance (such as Level 8), and can ensure structural stability under severe weather (typhoons, earthquakes, etc.) without deformation or damage.
- Wide adaptability: The height, shape, light source, and functions of the light pole can be flexibly adjusted according to different road types (urban arterial roads, branch roads, rural roads) and scenes (squares, stadiums, industrial parks, etc.). For example, artistic street lights are used on urban landscape roads to enhance aesthetics; high-mast lights are used in industrial parks for large-area lighting; smart park street lights integrate monitoring and environmental monitoring functions.
- Good anti-corrosion and durability: Anti-corrosion processes such as hot-dip galvanizing and powder coating allow street lights to effectively resist corrosion when exposed to outdoor environments (sunlight, rain, salt spray, etc.) for a long time, extending their service life (the anti-corrosion life is usually more than 30 years) and reducing later maintenance and replacement costs.
- Excellent installation convenience: Components such as light poles can be prefabricated in the factory with a high degree of standardization. After being transported to the site, they can be quickly assembled and installed through foundation embedded parts and fasteners, with a short construction period and little impact on traffic and the surrounding environment; some liftable high-mast lights are more convenient and safe for later maintenance of light sources.
- Great potential for energy conservation and environmental protection: Equipped with high-efficiency light sources such as LEDs, they have low energy consumption and high luminous efficiency; they can also be expanded into solar-powered or wind-solar hybrid power supply forms, using clean energy, reducing reliance on the municipal power grid, and meeting the needs of green and energy-saving development.
Application Fields
Urban road lighting: Covers arterial roads, secondary roads, branch roads, streets, etc., providing basic lighting for vehicle driving and pedestrian travel, ensuring nighttime traffic order and safety. Different road sections optimize lighting effects by reasonably matching street light height, spacing, and light sources.
Public space lighting: Open or crowded places such as squares, stadiums, parks, scenic spots, and stations. High-mast lights are used in squares and stadiums to achieve large-area strong light coverage; landscape street lights are suitable for parks and scenic spots, taking into account lighting and environment beautification to create a distinctive night scene atmosphere.
Industrial parks and factory areas: Around factory buildings and roads in industrial parks, conventional street lights or high-mast lights are used to meet the lighting needs of production operations and vehicle passage, ensuring safe and efficient nighttime production activities in the park; for factory areas with special needs, steel structure street lights with explosion-proof functions can also be customized.
Rural road construction: Contributing to rural revitalization, providing lighting for rural roads, cultural squares, and centralized residential areas, improving rural nighttime travel conditions, enriching villagers' nighttime lives. Light poles of about 6-10 meters are commonly used, adapting to rural space scales and lighting needs.
Smart transportation and urban management: As carriers of smart street lights, they integrate functions such as cameras, sensors (monitoring temperature, humidity, traffic flow, etc.), charging piles, and broadcasting. They are applied in urban smart roads and smart parks to assist traffic management, environmental monitoring, and public services, promoting urban intelligent construction.
